Creating impact through EXPLORAkits!

All DCs will integrate into EXPLORA Teams, which include fellow DCs (from other WPs), industry, creative-cultural sector, and SHITSUKAN partners (shitsukan.jp/deep/en; SHITSUKAN refers to the perceived multisensory material qualities and associations in its widest sense). Through teamwork DCs will make a meaningful contribution towards science literacy among a target group that is notoriously hard to win for STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics) subjects. As science disengagement amongst school children is currently one of the big global challenges. The outcome of team activities will be a freely available collection of multisensory Explora Kits will be scalable and realized in different sizes, forms, and levels of complexity, ranging from, for example, card games to code for Tabletop 3D printable objects sets to human-size experience suits or even detailed designs for escape rooms or integrated lighting plans for art exhibitions.
